Features
The Automatic Rotor Identification system features a dynamic rotor inertia check that prevents rotors from running above rated speeds and optimizes the temperature control based on the rotor. The Beckman Avanti J-25 centrifuge enables high force microplate applications and up to 10 microplates in a single run. Storage capability of up to 30 two-step user programs, zonor rotor capability, and SpinTrace software compatibility.

Testing
Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly.
If the centrifuge is refrigerated, we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.
Our technicians inspect all rotors, including any buckets, gaskets and overspeed disks. Fixed angle rotors are closely inspected for body integrity; swinging bucket rotors supplied with buckets are checked for proper weight distribution. When possible, we run each rotor in a compatible centrifuge to make sure the rotor spins properly.
