"Fuselage?" you say - well, yes - you see it was designed as an ROG model. It has landing gear. In fact, this may prove to be a very good Fuselage model - it is essentially a Stick model with a single spindly front landing gear. You cannot get much closer to a Stick and still remain ROG-compliant.
I took my winter-built prototype out to fly at Muncie on a windy day (15-20mph winds?) in March 2021. Even with a 3-loop motor, it showed great promise and flew surprisingly well in the gusty conditions. I upped the motor to a standard-sized 6-loop of 1/8" motor and had several high and long hand-launched flights (I'm too wimpy to try ROG in those conditions!), the longest being a 97-second, DT-shortened flight. It was hard to get the plane properly trimmed on that day, but I am sure this will be a winner!
UPDATE! My HepCat won its first contest, on a windy day, with the only Triple-Max in the OT Fuselage event!
